M & M
Word from: David

Two Mima'amakim contributors have been makin' noise in the big leagues. Mordechai Sheinfeld won a Rolling Stone contest writing about the musical scene in Washington Heights. Menachem Wecker has a new blog called Iconia, where 'art and religion intersect.' Both are well worth reading.

Mima'amakim in Jerusalem Photos!
Word from: Jake

We got photos of the Mima'amakim show in Jerusalem!!!

These are just a preview - here's a whole batch from Jessica Singer, and another one from Yonit Schiller.

Many thanks to the photographers! And of course, the organizers, readers, and the audience. Mima'amakim is rocking Jerusalem.

By the way, looking through the photos I noticed a lot of performers I've never met - if anybody is up for the honorable "scribe-chronicler" session, please give us golus folks some names, bios, etc. And any impressions of the show in general. Really wish I could have been there!

Chaim Rosenblum's "Ordinary Life"
Word from: Jake

He put together a small collection of poems, "Ordinary Life" which I'm proud to present here.
